Since 2008, the Rhaetian Railway's Albula line has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Between Bergün and Preda, the railway climbs over 400 metres in just 12 km as the crow flies, via five loop tunnels and nine viaducts. The Albula Railway discovery trail leads in three stages from the Albula Tunnel to the Landwasser Viaduct, with information boards right along the route. Bergün station is 300 m from the hotel.
